The Funniest Joke About A Spoon

Back in May I wrote this blog, go ahead you can take a look. I'll wait.....

That blog was for a Twitter contest with the one and only Collective Soul! I was selected by Collective Soul as one of the top 12 blogs! Can you believe it! Probably cause it's been a few months since this happened and I would actually be really shocked if you didn't know about it, haha! Then they had a poll for us selected top 12. Can I just tell you what torture that poll was. You could watch the votes go up for you and for others when yours stopped moving. Then the poll didn't end when it should have we had another day of voting. I stopped watching the polls that day, I had to get some things done.

I finally started looking a few hours before it was over. My new and really good friend Mick and I were tied or neck in neck most of the time. It was insane! The polls finally ended I had 966 votes with Mick at 968. I was convinced Mick had won by just 2 votes! He was an excellent challenger and I wouldn't wanted it any other way. Then something strange happened the polls needed to catch up. Still to this day I have no idea how this happened, I got 4 more votes. After the update I had 970 votes two more then Mick. Then the announcement was made! I had officially won the contest. I couldn't believe it! I started to get teary-eyed at work and couldn't believe it had happened.

I immediately told my best friend Andrea that I had won, previously in May when I tweeted Collective Soul my entry she was just showing up at my house. So I told her I was entering in a contest and if I won I would take her with me to the concert. We laughed it off "riiiiight like I'm going to win" haha. We've been counting down the days since July 2 for our concert.

In just 6 sleeps I get to go on my ROAD TRIP!!! I can't wait I also get to take Collective Soul some cupcakes. I will be taking so many pictures, and I hope to update my blog the next day or the night I get home. I won't have a computer with me but I will have my cell phone. So I will send in some tweets! That is if my phone doesn't die, my cat ate my charger....
