We missed most of Mury's performance because we were standing the line that never ended. Oh and you know how you have to get patted down for weapons and what not. You always have to get patted down by the same sex so no issues arise out of lets say "being friendly." Anyway I got patted down by a women and you could tell she preferred women. It was an interesting pat down, I'll leave it at that. So we walked around for a bit here was the stage during the day we were wondering around on the grass.
Here's a pic of me being bored waiting for the next band to come on. They had 10 bands playing that day. Unwritten Law and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus were there. I took pictures of us but they turned out awful so I'm not sharing those.. haha. I did get pretty sunburned that day. This was also right before the sun disappeared for the rest of the day, and it started to rain a little bit.
I should have titled this blog as The Blog of Eccentric Hairstyles at the BASh. Here's another man with fun hair. I thought he was going to beat us up at one point in the day. Dan, my brother, would not stop commenting on how he loved his hair and "Talk to me, baby!" Every time he walked by. It was a very colorful Mohawk, you can't see his outfit but just imagine red plaid skinny pants and chains. He was totally punked out, and probably would enjoy punching out Dan.
It was finally 10 pm and we initially were not going to stay for the whole thing. The headliner was The Offspring. Now don't get me wrong I love me some Offspring, but more the 90's and early 2000's fan. 2000's sounds funny, what do we call it? 00's or 2k's? Vh1 calls it the New Millennium but that's too long to say. Sorry for the random intermission haha. Anyway, I am just not a fan of the new policital music they have been putting out. Same with Green Day, ever since their Grammy win for American Idiot I haven't been a big fan.
The Offspring actually put on a kick ass show. We stayed for the whole thing and enjoyed every minute of it. They played more of their past hits including "Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)" which is a song I would have guessed they hated now. They did play their newer songs but I didn't care, they sounded really good live. Which seems to be a thing of the past now. The rest of the weekend I recuperated from my sunburns. Well that was the part two of my vacation. I plan on updating my blog more. Twitter has pretty much taken over on all social networking for me. I've meet some really neat and fun Tweeps on there. It's been really fun. Even Facebook has been booted down!
