"Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is."---- German Proverb
Fear is an interesting thing. Polyphobia, fear of many things, is something I would probably say I have. I fear a lot of things, although I am sure someone else has more fears then me. I even have fears that don't have phobia names, I suppose I could make some up. I am going to share with you all my fears haha, and maybe explain why if I can. Some I really have no idea why.
Altophobia: Fear of heights. **I actually have no idea why I am so afraid of heights, I just always experiance vertigo and anxiety when I look down a flight of stairs or over cliffs. No tramatic events here.**
Arachnophobia: Fear of spiders. **They are just creepy, bite, run fast, oh and dont forget half the time poisonous!! As you can tell they also give me severe anxiety**

Automatonophobia: Fear of ventriloquist's dummies, animatronic creatures, wax statues anything that falsly represents a sentient being. **Okay I am not afraid of animatronics or wax statues, but I am deathly afriad of ventriloquist's dummies. Now there is a popular ventriloquist comedian who I have grown to, Jeff Dunham. His are not the creepy kind, those remind me of muppets. I am talking about the old school wooden in tuxedo dummies. **
Aviatophobia: Fear of flying. **I think this has to do with fear of heights, and the fact of crashing wouldn't really be forgiving. I've only flown once in my life when I was 7. My dad drove us to Disneyland and along the coast up to San Francisco for my birthday. For some reason we flew home. I probably would have been more distressed if I hadn't just received a SNES for my birthday present.**
Catoptrophobia: Fear of mirrors. ** Okay I can deal with mirrors during the day fine. It's when it's dark. I hate mirrors when it's dark. I will not go into bathrooms with out turning the light on first. This one I really don't understand, and has only become a fear somewhat recent. Within the last six years or so.**
Claustrophobia: Fear of confined spaces. ** I don't like small places it makes me nervous and I would probably have a panic attack if it is for a long period of time. More then like 5 minutes.. example elevators, shut in small closets, really really small bathrooms. You know when you have to stand on the toilet to shut the door. Lol**
Cleisiophobia: Fear of being locked in an enclosed place. ** Part of being claustrophobic you tend to not want to be locked in an enclosed space. **
Coulrophobia: Fear of clowns. ** I dont really know why I am afraid of clowns, but I have an inkling that it's from Stephen King's IT. Pennywise is one of the scariest clowns around. Although I wish they would all die! **
Demophobia: Fear of crowds. ** I dont like crowds cause I feel trapped, stuck, and no control of the situation. Probably another perk of being a claustrophobic.**
Pharmacophobia: Fear of taking medicine. ** I don't know if you would call it a fear of swallowing pills. However my throat will close up/I'll forget how to swallow if I just try to swallow a pill with water. So it's not necessarily the medicine, not sure if it counts as a fear.**
Pnigerophobia: Fear of choking of being smothered. ** I hate shirts that are tight around the neck, I dont like hands around my neck especially big man hands. I have a fear of drowning so I suppose this would go under this too.**
Pediophobia: Fear of dolls. ** I use to have a porclein doll. I can't remember what happened to her, I was never all that fond of her. Maybe because my mom would never let me actually play with her. I can picture that glass face, with eyes so real yet so dead looking. **
Gnomophobia: Fear of Garden Gnomes. ** Creepy little men enough said**

I also fear drains and sewers inside and outside. Even fake ones in places for decoration. I wont stand very close to the shower drain. Nor do I like putting my hand down a drain especially the garbage disposal.
Rope Bridges or any Long Bridge... probably heights thing, also the stability of the stucture. Is it really safe?
Attics... Closets with attic doors. That's a WHOLE nother story on it's own. Maybe I will reiterate it another day. Many of you already know this story.
Windows at night, the blinds must be shut before it gets dark. I think it's more of a privacy thing, not being able to see out. However everyone outside and look in. Creepy!
I believe that is the last of my really big list of phobias. I might of forgotten a few, but I know those are the major ones.
While going through all the lists of phobias and their definitions I found this phobia...
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia: Fear of long words. This one gave me a chuckle cause if you are afraid of long words you couldn't say what your phobia was...

The ONLY thing we have to fear is FEAR ITSELF...and spiders.
